This spring, art photographer Scott Takeda has finally gotten around to developing some images from the past. Leading the new additions is "Venice Couple" which joins his "Scene Collection."
"I'm really excited about this image because I completely forgot I shot it," said Takeda. "As a former photojournalist, I tend to shoot fast. Occasionally I forget what I've shot because I'm onto the next assignment. However I found this image when going through some old files. It's gorgeous.
"I was walking around Venice just sightseeing, when I came around the corner and saw this couple ahead of me. At the time, they were walking in the shadows, but I could see what might happen if they walked through the sliver of light. Instinctively, I raised my camera and fired off three shots as they entered the light. The first one captured the moment."
