Colorado Heights University Gallery has agreed to display the newest art piece from art photographer Scott Takeda. The piece titled 'Sacred Journey' comes from Takeda's Gigantic Gallery.
"What a gorgeous piece," said gallery curator Sam McDermott. "We're putting it in a special place in the library, and everyone at the gallery is thrilled to have it. It's going to generate a lot of interest from our patrons."
The piece is a 180-degree panorama of Machu Picchu – following a trip Takeda made to Peru a few years back. It joins a four piece collection the gallery has for an extended 2011 run through the summer. The image is 48x6 and sells for $660 framed or $110 per print.
