Denver-based art photographer Scott Takeda heads to Croatia in late summer to unveil his most recent works at the Fotoklub Split Gallery. The solo exhibition will run from mid August through September 2015.
"I am so excited to have my first international exhibition," said Takeda. "Fotoklub Split is one of the top European photographic organizations. Their entire mission is to preserve photography as a medium to tell stories and their thousands of members range from working photojournalists to international art photographers. So I'm incredibly honored to have this group choose me to showcase my work in their gallery.
"And even better, their gallery is in Diocletian's Palace, so my work will be surrounded by the walled ruins built for the 3rd Century Roman Emperor Diocletian."
Fotoklub Split is located at Marmontova 5 in Split, CroatiaFor more information on the exhibition, contact Gallery curator Josip Ostojić at +385 021 347 597 or at info@fotoklubsplit.hr
