Art photographer Scott Takeda moves his "Obstacles" art collection to Colorado Heights Art Gallery in West Denver for an extended 2011 run.
"I love, love, LOVE Scott's more abstract work," said gallery curator Sam McDermott. "We just had his solo show here, and it got rave revews. I can't wait until our patrons see his new work. I think this is going to be a very popular show."
The collection is part of Takeda's Still Life Series, and each image highlights a barrer to overcome. The 10x14 images are gallery mattes that sell for $175 each. The four piece collection sells for $600. For more information, contact Sam McDermott at 303-937-4009.
UPDATE (2/12/11) - Gallery curator Sam McDermott sold two of the four pieces from the collection. "We're shipping them out today," said McDermott. "A couple moving to Hawaii purchased Elevator Door and Language Barrier and are so excited to have them in their new home. I knew this would be a popular series for Scott. I expect the remaining two will sell quickly." For more information on the remaining two pieces, contact McDermott at 303-937-4009.
