Art photographer Scott Takeda is fronting a solo art show at The Higher Ground Gallery in Golden, Colorado.
"It's always nice getting a solo show," said Takeda. "I was part of a group show at Higher Ground in 2007 and got great response from the patrons. That's when the owner and I talked about getting my own show. It was funny. He opened up his calendar, and the first available spot was 2010 – a wait of nearly two and a half years. What can I say...it's a popular place.
"I'm doing something a little bit different with this show than my other shows. I'm only showing my best selling works. Sometimes I like to unveil new works during my shows, but this gallery gets such great foot traffic with its proximity to the University and downtown, that I'm just showing my most popular pieces. I'm very excited!"
Higher Ground Gallery and Cafe is located at 803-B Fourteenth Street in Golden, Colorado at the north east edge of the Colorado School of Mines. The show runs through Sunday February 28th.
