Check out some great photography at Reed Photo Art Gallery – Denver’s largest gallery dedicated to art photography. Art photographer Scott Takeda is part of a group show featuring four of the Rocky Mountain region’s top photojournalists
"This is such an incredible thrill to be in this show," said Takeda. "Ken Papaleo is a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and a genius with the camera; Tyler Stableford was just named one of the world’s best adventure photographers by Men’s Journal; and Richard Durnan mixes such a humanistic style with his documentary travel photography."
The last time Takeda was in a similar show was in 2004 and 2005 in Detroit, Michigan, when he participated in the annual Visions of the Sacred photojournalism show. Those invite-only shows also included work from the world's best photojournalists.
Takeda will be unveiling several new images including a stunning 180-degree panorama of Machu Picchu and a painting-like image of spring tulips. He will also have several bestselling images from his Search For Thor Sabbatical to Asia-Pacific.
The opening is Friday January 18th, and the show will run two months through March 15th.
