Roosevelt Island, New York (2011) - This is an image taken of the eastern shores of lower Manhattan from Roosevelt Island. It’s a compilation of five images taken at five different exposures, which my computer nicely assembled into one. Because of the time it took to take five photos, the clouds above Manhattan were in different positions for each exposure. The end result gives a dynamic motion to the sky, which makes this snapshot seem oddly moving.
